Langleys Dining Room
This time last year we were working away to create a space above Langleys Restaurant, one to serve as a venue to host special events. Having launched Langleys’ dining room to hire last July, it’s been gaining popularity to celebrate some of those momentous occasions. With a rich background that spans as far back as the 1800s - from a family grocers’ known as the Jamison Brothers established in 1893 - to becoming the 13th branch of Waitrose in the early 20th century, serving the grand homes in the Southborough estate here in Surbiton, to surviving two world wars; and eventually finding its way to our hands, we are proud to be a part of its history. Langleys stands transformed yet again into a British brasserie that holds a team of chefs who continually work on keeping the menu exciting. And an intercontinental wine list that complements that menu. With plenty of its character still intact, the private dining room just above the restaurant through the wooden archway incorporates Langleys history with modern British flair. The space offers a warmth and accessibility amidst a traditional back drop. Chandeliers adorning rustic wooden beams, unique pieces around the room like dressers and carved chairs, plush carpeting off set by mirrors and mosaic. We’d like this space to reflect the ethos of fine west side London lifestyle, coupled with the relaxed suburban. If you are planning ahead, looking for a venue to host up to 65 guests for a special sit down dinner, the Langleys venue might just be to your liking. The space can also accommodate up to 120 stand up champagne and canapé parties. Let us know your plans and we’ll be happy to help or book your special event this summer. Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com to discuss your needs for a party or event. We’re happy to help make your day special.
